A Special Tribute To Marco Simoncelli In MotoGP Valencia
MotoGP Valencia organizers have prepared a special tribute to Marco Simoncelli. Before the race was held, all riders will be paraded on the track.
The plan, in at 10.10 am local time, after the warm-up session, all riders from the 125cc class, Moto2, MotoGP and will leave the pit lane together. Those who were about 90 racers will be circling the Circuit Ricardo Tormo as much as one round.
The procession will be led by former world champion Kevin Schwantz. Schwantz will drive a 58 Honda Gresini's Marco Simoncelli.
Just before touching the finish line, riders will stop the group. On the other side of the finish line, local government and the organizers of MotoGP (Dorna, IRTA and the FIM) gather. Members are also invited to attend the paddock at the track and will be able to meet in a designated area.
When all is already in their respective positions, the traditional fireworks will be lit Valencia for two full minutes.
Simoncelli was killed in Malaysian MotoGP race at the Sepang Circuit, two weeks ago. Rider nicknamed this Supersic lost their lives after an accident involved with Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi.
